Job Description

Symphony Talent is seeking a Product Owner with a passion for turning ideas into details, bringing to life the product vision through the delivery of truly valuable solutions for our customers and candidates.

Our Product Owners form the tactical side of the Product Team, focusing on how we design & deliver solutions that best align with the opportunities identified by the strategic side, our Product Managers.

As part of this role, you will work in close collaboration with peers in the Engineering and UI/UX teams to design, build and deliver features that are in line with the strategic goals of the company - and that will deliver real value to our clients.

You will have a tight relationship with the external-facing Product Management group, and will have the right tools and skills to take the Product vision and turn it into a reality.

While you will be part of the Product organization, you will also be part of a delivery squad, where you will drive the delivery and execution of the product roadmap and provide the voice of the customer.

  • Own an area of the product suite and become the go-to expert on it - an eye for detail and the drive to take responsibility are musts!

  • Propose viable, feasible and usable solutions to problems faced by customers, turning Product Vision into an actionable backlog and executing it.

  • Create materials needed to bring these ideas to life - prototypes, epics, stories, data analysis, feature document, enablement documentation, release notes etc.

  • Act as an advocate for the customer, internal stakeholders and business partners as it relates to product issues and improvements

  • Create buy-in for the solution with internal stakeholders and customers

  • Work closely with the UI/UX and Engineering Teams to ensure Product Delivery is in line with Product Vision

  • Assume full ownership of the product backlog, making prioritization decisions

  • Lead and facilitate regular backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning sessions

  • Be accountable for the delivery, rollout and enablement plan of roadmap items
