Job Description

Symbotic is searching for an analytical, customer focused Service Parts Planner to be a part of our exciting initiative to operationally scale and deliver the next generation of world-class industrial supply chain and warehouse automation equipment. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on planner to execute service business planning and fulfillment to support our hypergrowth.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who has demonstrated experience planning in a service function and working with field operations. You must be hands-on, and able to succeed within a high change and extremely fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with several functions within operations and cross-functionally with other Symbotic stakeholders


  • Plan, purchase, and manage service parts supply from factory to final delivery, ensuring all service part demand is fulfilled.
  • Collaborate with quality, the service teams, and site managers to prioritize and execute the plan to support and monitor on-going requirements at site.  wear reporting.
  • Coordinate with site managers to identify critical demand signals from local operations and build out reporting functionality to collect structured demand data.
  • Work with IT and the business stakeholders to define processes and tools needed to commit to future demands and measure fulfillment performance.
  • Work with Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts orders to worldwide 3PL’s for distribution to markets
  • Conduct periodic reviews of BOMs and min/max quantities at defined locations, and revise stocking plans and quantities required.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and build/update data solutions to support stakeholder and project objectives.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related discipline, or equivalent experience required
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the areas of Service Planning and/or Supply Chain.
  • Experience supporting remote site service demand.
  • ERP systems experience is required. NetSuite experience preferred.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and influence all levels of the business
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel are preferred.
