Job Description

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join the team in Sydney.  You will kept busy solutioning, developing, deploying and supporting our Operational Support System platforms. This is a full-stack, hands-on role that will see you developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business, as well as BAU.  Our customers rely on our products to connect, communicate and do business across Australia, NZ and Singapore.

What you'll do as a Software Engineer:

  • Develop new products and features within the Java spring framework backed by MySQL/Postgres
  • Development and maintenance of our core, revenue generating systems
  • Building out new functionality to help us scale our platforms globally
  • Participate in design discussions and code reviews
  • Work in an agile environment, always with engineering best practices in mind

Qualifications

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java 8 or above
  • Exposure to large scale applications
  • A desire to continually learn and drive efficiency

Bonus points for nice to have skills:

  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies
  • Experience in Golang and ReactJS
