Sybil Mobile Notary, LLC (SMN) is expanding into new cities in various states. We are looking for Certified and Bonded Notaries to join our teams in various states (Overland Park, Kansas, West Bottoms, Missouri, St Louis, Missouri, Dallas, Texas and Greenbelt, Maryland). You will make your own hours and accept new orders that you select. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.

You will witness and notarize the signing of official documents and verify the identity of all signers. Notary responsibilities are not limited to verifying the identification of contracted participants and administering oaths. Specific assignments may require additional duties. 

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with signees
• Maintain a notary journal per your state’s requirements
• Work in our office-sites and/or be mobile to travel
• Complete the notarial certificate on all documents
• Verify the identification of contract participants
• Be present in person or via remote when documents are signed, some signings will include traveling within your local area
• Administer oaths
• Handle affidavits, contracts, loan documents, mortgage deeds, and other legal documents
• Ensure your states requirements/certifications, are always current
• Bi-lingual Notary Public, and Loan Signing Agents are needed in all our locations.

Requirements

• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Notary in your commissioned state
• Proven work experience as a Notary or Loan Signing Agent
• Experience working in various official capacities as needed for the signing of a contract or other official documents
• Ability to work on site, or remotely
• Reliable transportation & current drivers license for mobile notary work
• Ability to speak and read in other languages is a plus
• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
