Job Description

Join the Finance Department as a part-time Account Payable Officer reporting directly to the Responsible Accounting Team. As an Accounts Payable Officer in the banking sector, you will primarily be responsible for managing supplier accounts, entering and processing invoices, and making payments.

This permanent position based in Gland requires excellent knowledge of financial processes and strong attention to detail. It offers a great opportunity to join a growing financial company with strong growth prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing of accounts payable (record invoices, prepare and apply payments);
  • Ensure appropriate approvals of invoices in accordance with the company policy;
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices;
  • Ensure the reconciliation of AP related accounts and resolve any discrepancies that may arise;
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve promptly invoice-related issues;
  • Processing employees corporate credit card operations (reconciliation with supporting document and posting of entries);
  • Assist with monitoring and analyse of overhead expenditures ;
  • Support month-end closing activities and reconciliation processes;
  • Participation in ad-hoc reporting tasks as required;
  • Maintain accurate process documentation, procedures, and control evidence as per internal policies;
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the team’s apprentices
  • Various other general accounting and administrative tasks to support the team

Qualifications

  • CFC or equivalent diploma in Accounting
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in a bank
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • French and English fluent (oral and written) mandatory
  • Knowledge of Ivalua software is a plus
