Job Description
Swissquote is Switzerland’s leading online bank, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (symbol: SQN). Through our partnerships with major sports organizations such as UEFA Europa and Conference League, Genève-Servette Hockey Club, and the ZSC Lions, we aim to create engaging activations that bring our brand closer to fans, clients, and communities.
Your Responsibilities
As a Sponsorship & Events Intern, you will support the Marketing team in coordinating and delivering impactful activations linked to Swissquote’s sponsorship portfolio. As a secondary responsibility, you will also assist in the communication and delivery of internal and external events. Your main tasks will include:
- Coordinate sponsorship activations in Switzerland
Support the planning and execution of activations for UEL/ UECL, Genève-Servette Hockey Club, and the ZSC Lions. Ensure deliverables are aligned with Swissquote’s brand standards and objectives.
- Support communication around partnerships
Assist in the creation of engaging content for Swissquote’s channels, including running contests, giveaways, and coordinating with the social media team to highlight sponsorship assets. - Coordinate ticket distribution
Manage the allocation of tickets across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring a transparent, fair, and balanced distribution between business and employee needs. - Research and organize new activation opportunities
Explore innovative, co-branded opportunities with our partners to enhance visibility and strengthen Swissquote’s position as a dynamic and engaging brand. - Support Events manager in the planning of various internal and external events
- Support internal and external event communications: create briefing for creative teams and agencies, create invitations using tools such as Tito, and manage CRM-driven email campaigns.
- Oversee event logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; English and French required, German is a plus.
- A team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong interest in sports marketing, sponsorship, and event management.
- Comfortable using digital tools (MS Office, social media platforms; experience with Canva or similar tools is a plus).
