As a manager of a team of 4 people, your missions are the following :

• Management of a large fleet of Solaris and Linux servers, including installation, operational maintenance and evolutions,
• Tuning and maintaining the system performance,
• Maintain the security as well as a high availability of services,
• Ensure the quality of the server back-up (NetBackup),
• Deal with SAN environment, K8s, MAAS, Juju,
• Server fleet monitoring,
• Picket service in rotation with other team members.

The team management part includes :

• The management of the team members,
• The organization of the team,
• Monitoring of projects and tasks on a daily basis,
• Ensure an accurate reporting of your team’s activity,
• Participation in the recruitment and assessment process,
• Interaction with other technical teams.

• Engineering degree (master, bachelor),
• A first experience on a management role is mandatory,
• Excellent communication skills,
• At ease with Sun Solaris and Linux Ubuntu/RHEL,
• Good knowledge of cluster environments and virtualization (Solaris Zones, ESX),
• A knowledge of the following technologies is a strong asset : K8s, MAAS, Juju, SAN, DNS operation, and backups,…
• Comfortable with automation tools such as Ansible, Tower,
• Notions of project management methods (Agile).
