Job Description

As Head of the Italian Desk you will be responsible for developing and implementing a communication strategy and for reaching volume, revenues and profitability targets through enhancing relationships with existing customers and new business development. You’ll be working directly with the Head of Sales & Operations to develop and implement both short term and long term sales strategies for the business, ensuring we provide excellent service to our customers in order to build long lasting relationship.

Qualifications

  • Strategy and planning
    • Develop and implement the sales and communication strategy to ensure efficient customer on-boarding by the managed team. Example:
      • Identifying new business opportunities and clients' needs
    • Establish and streamline the sales processes for new business development, and long term customer relationship management
    • Collaborate closely with other Team Leaders to generate ideas and stimulate innovative approaches. Examples:
      • Assist in the creation of e-mail campaigns and on line promotion
      • Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
      • Assist with fulfilment of marketing offers
      • Assist in the creation of appropriate sales & marketing communications to partners and potential customers
      • Assist in tradeshow and conference planning, speakers picking
    • Forecast new business development pipeline, plan the needed initiative to reach the set goals

 

  • Managing and monitoring
    • Manage the allocated sales team and resources to meet sales goals within existing customer network, as well as new business development
    • Work closely with sales & support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain training & coordination across the sales network
    • Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials

 

  • Business Development
    • Call and hunt prospects and convert them into customers
    • Collect and process documents to complete account opening if needed
    • Educate clients to our products and services if needed
    • Partner with customers to understand their business objectives that could inform possible future product development
    • Be a brand ambassador and represent the company in the assigned market via PR activities and networking
    • Participate in exhibition and road shows if requested

 

  • Reporting
    • Provide monthly and ad-hoc reports on sales activities and sales growth potential
