Job Description

Position overview:

Accounting Assistant to assist the Accounting department with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits and day to day operational support, and assist in preparing reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills.

Tasks & Duties (not limited to):

  • Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by assisting in analyzing Financial Statements and general ledger.
  • Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
  • Working on ERP and correcting errors by posting adjusting journal entries with Approvals.
  • Update accounts receivable and accounts payable and issue invoices.
  • Follow-up timely with the team of different subsidiaries regarding accounting matters in order to ensure support.  
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
  • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue if and when required.
  • Maintain and record fixed assets.
  • Prepare local tax compliance reporting as necessary.
  • Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
  • Assist and act upon tasks as instructed by the department head for smooth operations.
  • Maintain Accounting boards as prescribed by the department head.
  • Efficient handling of company petty cash.
  • Assist in preparation of payroll on monthly basis.
  • Assist in bank related matters and keeping the confidentiality of the company as priority.
     

Qualifications

  • Saudi National
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Commerce
  • 2 Years of Experience in Accounting.
