We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Product Manager to join our growing team in Glasgow. You may not have held the title Product Manager before, that’s OK, if you have the skills and experience below we would love to talk.
As the sole Product Manager in Swipii, you will explore and develop product experiences for new & existing Swipii users both in the B2C and B2C sense. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step into broader role to shape a team and product, whilst still being very hands on, speaking directly to Business and Consumers and exploring the problems faced. The role also also gives the opportunity to collaborate with all levels and roles in the organisation from Sales and Marketing to Operations and directly with the CEO.
Here at Swipii our product team works in small build/measure/learn iterations, deliberately focussing on delivering outcomes over output. Therefore this role involves:
Exploring the problems faced by local businesses and our users, talking directly to them and conducting research
Utilising quantitative and qualitative data to produce insights that can be used to shape our product and inform key decisions on strategy and prioritisation
Identifying product opportunities where we can deliver meaningful value to our customers and prioritising ruthlessly to make sure they are taken forward.
Working as a pivotal part of our collaborative product engineering team to ensure a shared understanding of business context, product strategy and of course delivering impactful changes in user behaviours.
Working across the organisation, including our Growth and Customer Success teams where appropriate
Contributing to the strategic direction of the product and leadership of the organisation as a whole.
To succeed in Swipii it is essential that you are customer obsessed and product focused. You will be data-informed in your decision making, leveraging facts to validate your assumptions, but not being afraid to go with your instinct when necessary.
We are looking for:
Experience understanding user needs to find product opportunities through user research, and working with others to exploit those opportunities
Experience in driving product changes which deliver positive impacts to users and business metrics
Experience in selecting and applying the most appropriate research techniques to identify and prioritise core user challenges (i.e. competitive research, market research and analysis, user testing, AB testing)
A great communicator who thrives in a collaborative and nurturing environment
Curiosity, a thirst to learn
What we can offer you:
