We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join our growing product team in Glasgow.

Our product team are responsible for the full tech stack that powers the Swipii platform, including:

• Swipii’s consumer apps (Android and iOS)

• Web-based dashboard for businesses

• Backend APIs, databases and infrastructure

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work across all aspects of our product, shaping and delivering features that  provide real, measurable value for our users and businesses.

Our team is very proud of being able to identify complex issues and ship fixes and changes the same day. You will help us build on this capability and ensure that we are continually and pragmatically delivering high customer value while managing the complexity of our system.

Being part of Swipii, you will be expected to participate in setting the company's vision and mission, collaborating on the creation of our monthly and quarterly objectives, as well as shaping the roadmap to achieve them. You will relish both the level of autonomy and the level of accountability required to maximise the value we are delivering to users and businesses.

To succeed in Swipii it is essential that you are customer obsessed and product focused. You will be data-informed in your decision making, leveraging facts to validate your assumptions, but not being afraid to go with your instinct when necessary.

You will be an experienced Developer, with a demonstrable track record of designing, building and operating web applications and APIs.

We are looking for:

• Experience building and maintaining web-applications and backend APIs. Familiarity with the tech stack we use (C# ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Azure) is great, but not essential if you are willing to learn.

• An interest in mobile apps development. Our apps are written in Swift and Kotlin (using ReactiveX) and our product team delivers functionality across apps/web/APIs.

• Good level of understanding and use of agile principles and their value. You will be happy to blend what works over choosing a particular framework.

• Curiosity, a constant hunger to learn and push the product's quality boundaries.

• Passion, drive and belief in our vision and mission - you will be an owner at Swipii and our product.

• Evidence of being self-motivated and driven – you find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve tricky problems.

• Demonstrable alignment to our core values and a willingness to work and fully participate in a collaborative team
