Swimwear Anywhere, Inc. has a job opening for a production manager whose responsibilities will include ensuring efficient day to day process flow as well as the logistical movement of all elements of production from pre-cutting ticket stage through product delivery to the distribution center. 
The Production Manager will possess a positive disposition, is solution driven and has the ability to speak with internal and external clients professionally, under all circumstances.

Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing projections with management for production plan by division
• Working with sales, fabric & trim teams on forecasting and analyzing costs
•  Setting up costs in AS 400
• Create Purchase Order, Review PO changes, place order and cross check with packing slips for accuracy and clear special instructions to factory
• Monitor weekly WIP reports from factories to ensure WIP dates are accurate
• Follow and enforce production QC standards and cohesiveness of brand, where appropriate across categories and vendors
• Create, manage and modify a company production calendar and timeline
• Operate within company systems to manage production
• Hold factories accountable to promised delivery dates while keeping the team up to date on deliveries and due dates
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and roles including Creative Director,  Product Development, Merchandising and Sales

• 3-5 years’ production experience in apparel industry
• Bachelor’s degree (or relevant years of work experience)
• Experience with overseas factories
• Ability to speak Mandarin a plus
• Proficient in MS Excel and AS400
• Organized, accurate and detail oriented
• The ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
• A dependable problem solver with excellent follow-through skills
• A quick learner and critical thinker who is deadline oriented
