We're looking for someone to join either our Lincoln or Omaha team as an Account Planner/Audience Strategist.

Job Description

An Account Planner/Audience Strategist partners with resources throughout the agency to uncover critical audience insights that assist in the development and execution of creative ideas. Using unmatched industry expertise, research, technology, and a deep understanding of customer experience (CX) best practices, the Strategist must be able to reveal critical audience insights and develop groundbreaking strategies that make a Real Connection™ between our clients' brand and their audience. It's not about delivering data or ideas for a brief and disappearing. The Strategist must be able to connect the dots in the customer journey and align all agency disciplines to ensure we are delivering the very best brand experiences for our clients.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the client's business and the consumer journey
  • Contribute insights for creative briefs and assist with briefings
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and omnichannel plan goals/KPIs
  • Manage and develop all CX deliverables
  • Be the orchestrator that aligns discipline strategy and expertise
  • Manage strategy, data, and research projects
  • Continually analyze new platforms and technologies
  • Create quarterly reports on audiences, competitors, platforms, and trends
  • Learn, implement and train employees on new tools and frameworks
  • Be the Champion for the customer with internal teams, clients, and prospects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 4-8 years of related experience (internships included)
  • Passionate about data, technology, and creativity
  • Intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, problem-solving skills and determination
  • A point of view on people, brands, culture, business and how they fit together
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and how brands and consumers use them
  • Collaborative spirit willing to learn quickly and jump in on a broad range of projects
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ready to listen to stakeholders and provide solutions
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Prefer experience with CX best practices and deliverables (personas, customer journey mapping, focus groups, VOC research, user experience studies, etc.)
  • Experience with 3rd party data, social listening, and analytics platform(s) (Resonate, Helixa, Crimson Hexagon, Talkwalker, Infegy, Spredfast, etc.)
  • Experience with web analytics platform(s) (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
