Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Associate Account Management professional to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client accounts, driving strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will work collaboratively across departments while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall success of our account management division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

  • Manage and nurture strategic client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive revenue growth and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Monitor account performance metrics, analyze trends, and prepare detailed reports for senior management
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Mentor and support junior account management staff, providing guidance on best practices and client engagement strategies
  • Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and align on strategic objectives
  • Customize solutions and proposals based on client needs, ensuring alignment with organizational capabilities
  • Identify and mitigate account risks, implementing proactive strategies to maintain client retention
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the CRM system and ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve client issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of account management or client relationship management experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high service standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic account planning and business development
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members (preferred)
  • Knowledge of account management best practices and industry trends (preferred)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and business intelligence software (preferred)
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills (preferred)
