Job Description
Sutherland is seeking a strategic-thinking and dynamic person to join us as a Legal Manager overseeing the Saudi Arabia, Dubai & Egypt regions for the organization. This position will manage legal affairs for the company in contract drafting, review and negotiation, general legal support, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management advice. This position is open to those based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia or Cairo, Egypt. Position will be onsite.
Legal Managers in this role get to: .
- Impact the bottom line: Draft and review commercial contracts with customers (master services agreements, scope of work agreements, NDAs, LOI, lease agreements, etc.). Draft, review, and lead negotiations with high value outsourcing contracts with customers.
- Keep Sutherland aligned: Review contracts related to the operation of the site with vendors and suppliers, identify non-compliance issues, provide implications, suggest available courses of action and support their resolution.
- Support the team: Provide legal support to the Business.
Our most successful candidates will have:
- Five or more years of legal experience in Law or BPO.
- Must be fluent in English & Arabic
- Experience in drafting and negotiating professional services, software development and licensing transactions.
- Ability to draft contracts in English and to communicate in English in conference calls, e-mails, etc. - Experience on commercial contracts (services agreements) and corporate law and regulations Strong team building and people development skills. - Ability to work in an organized, detailed manner under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Our most successful candidates will have:
- Five or more years of legal experience in Law or BPO.
- Must be fluent in English & Arabic
