Job Description

The Security Site Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team at Palayan Site. This role involves managing personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the safety and security of all employees, visitors, and property. The Security Site Lead will act as the primary point of contact for security-related issues and collaborate with other departments to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security personnel on-site, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and following established procedures.
  • Security Protocol Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard people and property.
  • Incident Management: Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, conducting investigations and preparing detailed reports as necessary.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Communication: Serve as the main liaison between the security team and site management, ensuring clear communication of security-related issues and initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and guidance to security staff on best practices, emergency response, and customer service.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and daily security operations, and report findings to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed, fostering relationships to enhance site security.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to security operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: College or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in security operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Security and Safety-related certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proficient in security systems and technology.
    • Ability to analyze situations and make quick decisions under pressure.
    • Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding security operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in various environmental conditions.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily on-site with some irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
