Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EBS HR Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Human Resources (HR) modules and will be responsible for providing functional expertise and support for the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of our HR systems. This role requires close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective use of EBS HR functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS modules including Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, OTL, and Oracle Learning Management.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend best practices for leveraging EBS HR functionalities.
  • Configure and customize EBS HR modules to meet business needs, including defining business rules, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW) and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support end-users during the testing phase.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and maintenance for EBS HR systems, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and performing upgrades.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users.
  • Ensure that all functional documentation, including configurations, process flows, and training materials, is complete and up-to-date.
  • Stay current with new features and functionality in Oracle EBS and recommend improvements and optimizations.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS functional consulting and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS HRMS modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, OTL, and Oracle Learning Management.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12, including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Oracle E-Business Suite certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or other cloud-based HR systems.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and best practices.
  • Experience with data migration and integration projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Oracle SQL and basic technical concepts related to EBS.
