Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for financial planning and reporting.
Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation using Hyperion/EPM Planning.
- Solution Design:
Design and architect Hyperion Planning applications based on business requirements.
Develop and implement best practices for Hyperion Planning application design, optimization, and integration with other systems.
- Technical Implementation:
Configure and customize Hyperion Planning applications to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain calculation scripts, business rules, and metadata in Hyperion Planning.
Data Integration:
Integrate data from various source systems into Hyperion Planning applications.
Design and implement data load processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing for Hyperion Planning applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, calculations, and system performance.
- Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for Hyperion Planning applications, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- User Training and Support:
Provide training and support to end-users on Hyperion Planning functionality and usage.
Address user inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor and optimize the performance of Hyperion Planning applications.
Implement performance tuning strategies to enhance system responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science).
- Proven experience as a Hyperion Planning Techno-Functional Analyst.
- Strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase.
- Knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud services is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with data integration tools and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Hyperion Planning Certification.
- Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist - Oracle EPM Cloud.
