Job Description
At Sureguard, you’ll combine clinical expertise, leadership, and a passion for patient care—all outside traditional hospital walls. You’ll oversee and grow a mobile team of wound care professionals, coordinate with SNFs and home health agencies, and continuously improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision
- Daily Oversight: Lead the day-to-day coordination of wound care staff, ensuring safe and efficient mobile services.
- Team Management: Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating wound care professionals.
- Clinical Performance: Supervise and coach clinical staff, maintaining high standards of care across varied settings (SNFs, home health).
- Competency Assurance: Ensure all medical personnel meet or exceed required competencies and certifications.
2. Administration
- Regulatory Compliance: Oversee adherence to relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements specific to mobile wound care and SNF/home health guidelines.
- Protocol Development: Collaborate with leadership to create and refine evidence-based protocols for mobile wound care delivery.
- Quality Improvement: Track patient outcomes, identify trends, and implement improvements as needed.
- Resource Coordination: Work with administrative staff to secure sufficient resources, including supplies and support personnel.
3. Clinical
- Patient Assessment & Treatment: Consult on and treat patients with diverse wound types, documenting care thoroughly.
- Protocol Adherence: Ensure consistency with established wound care protocols across multiple care locations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Remain readily available to address patient emergencies that may arise during wound care visits.
- Continuity of Care: Communicate with referring providers, coordinate discharges and follow-ups, and ensure timely referrals for specialized care.
4. Education and Training
- Staff Education: Provide ongoing training to clinical staff on advanced wound care techniques and product usage.
- Onboarding & In-Service: Help develop and maintain orientation programs for new hires and ongoing in-service training for the entire wound care team.
- Professional Development: Encourage staff to pursue continuing education and maintain professional licenses.
5. Personal and Professional Development
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest advancements in wound care, including treatment modalities and technology.
- Engage in Growth: Participate in self-development through corporate training, professional associations, and mentorship opportunities.
6. Professional Network Development
- Community Outreach: Present regularly to local medical groups, SNF administrative teams, and community organizations about Sureguard’s mobile wound care program.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong partnerships with interdisciplinary teams—especially at SNFs and home health agencies—to ensure seamless patient referrals.
- Program Visibility: Actively schedule one-on-one meetings with primary care, surgical specialties, and other providers to highlight program benefits.
Qualifications
- Education: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification/Eligibility: In a recognized medical or surgical specialty.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted state medical license and DEA license.
- Wound Care Certification: (e.g., CWSP) or eligibility to obtain it.
- Communication Skills: Strong written, verbal, and computer proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, full-time
- Paid Time Off: Two weeks PTO plus paid national holidays
