Job Description

We are looking for a hard-working, driven, enthusiastic and outgoing individual to grow and lead our sales team. As an early leader of our sales organization in one of the hottest markets, you will have a significant impact on the success of the company with significant opportunities for growth.  

As our Sales Director you will:

  • Grow and lead our sales team including account executives, SDRs, and others

  • Identify the proper KPIs for success

  • Implement the tools to monitor and track these KPIs along with a scalable system to drive improvement across those metrics

  • Hire, train and motivate your sales team, including providing regular coaching and mentoring for personal development and professional advancement

  • Solidify a repeatable sales process including prospecting, discovery, deal management, and closing

  • Work closely with the leadership team across business and engineering to achieve necessary sales goals 


  • 7+ years of sales experience as either an individual contributor or leader

  • 3+ years leading sales teams in B2B SaaS selling to mid-market and/or enterprise (machine learning, BI, data analytics software experience is a plus but not required)

  • Success building and leading “hunting” focused teams driving new logo acquisition and closing growth business

  • Data-driven mindset - a strong understanding of key KPIs needed to grow and scale sales organizations

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, creative, hard-working, and incredibly resourceful. We are a startup and it will require you to learn quickly while creating new processes. 

  • Strong affinity for and experience coaching and mentoring 

  • Good understanding of different sales methodologies (MEDDIC, BANT, etc)

  • An amazing listener, fast learner, and good influencer

  • Ego-free attitude - we are deeply rooted in collaboration and open-mindedness 

  • Previous early-stage startup experience preferred but not required

  • Previous experience with AI and ML, or a strong desire and ability to learn
