Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator to join our team at Sundance Living. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of critical systems, and providing technical support to our staff. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Great Plains Management: Oversee and manage the Great Plains accounting software, ensuring smooth operation and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Backups: Perform regular backups of critical data and systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Data Permissions: Manage data permissions and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
  • Windows Updates: Implement and manage Windows updates across the organization to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • System Upgrades: Lead the initiative for system upgrades, including planning, testing, and deploying new operating systems and software.
  • SharePoint Administration: Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, ensuring optimal performance and user accessibility.
  • O365 Administration: Manage Office 365 environments, including user accounts, licenses, and troubleshooting issues.

Ring Central Phone System Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Ring Central phone system, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.

 

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Great Plains software.
  • Experience with data backup and recovery processes.
  • Familiarity with managing data permissions and access controls.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and updates.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Office 365 administration.
  • Experience with Ring Central phone system management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Information

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based work.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry computer equipment and servers.
