Job Description
The eCommerce Site Merchandiser will be responsible for optimizing the presentation and performance of our online store. This role involves curating and managing product listings, analyzing performance data, and implementing strategies to enhance user experience and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Product Listing Management:
- Create and maintain product listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Ensure all product information is accurate, complete, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Optimize product content for search engines (SEO) and user engagement.
- Merchandising Strategy:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve conversion rates.
- Create and manage promotional campaigns, sales events, and seasonal displays.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
- Website Optimization:
- Monitor and enhance site performance, including page load times, user navigation, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve site layout and user experience.
- A/B test different layouts, content, and promotional strategies to identify what works best.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, and average order value.
- Prepare regular reports on site performance and recommend action plans based on data insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with merchandising, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and promotional alignment.
- Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and accurate stock levels.
- Customer Experience:
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to enhance the online shopping experience and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce merchandising or a similar role
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Proven experience in optimizing product listings and managing online promotions
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic web development concepts
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and online marketing strategies

NOTE: This position is onsite at our Corporate Office in Salt Lake City, UT. Relocation will be required if you are not local. No relocation assistance offered.
