Job Description

 

  • Perform comprehensive Airworthiness Reviews of the SunExpress aircraft fleet and issue Airworthiness Review Certificates
  • Manage Airworthiness Review activities associated with aircraft import and export projects, preparing Recommendation Reports and supporting documentation for the competent authority
  • Issue Permit to Fly for aircraft within the SunExpress fleet
  • Examine all continuing airworthiness records—including Maintenance Tasks, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Life Limited Parts (LLPs), Hard Time (HT) Components, Modifications, and Repairs—to verify compliance with approved data and regulations.
  • Perform physical inspections of aircraft to ensure full compliance with the Approved Flight Manual (AFM), Approved Configuration, and applicable Airworthiness Requirements
  • Liaise closely with the CAMO technical departments to resolve any Airworthiness Review findings, ensuring all findings are closed prior to issuing ARCs or Recommendation Reports
  • Monitor changes to national and international aviation regulations and update CAME Sections 4 and 4B accordingly

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Continuing Airworthiness
  • Must hold an Aeronautical Degree (an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components) and/or an appropriate HBL-66 Aircraft Maintenance License. (Note: As an alternative, a minimum of 10 years of continuing airworthiness experience combined with a bachelor’s degree is acceptable, provided the experience covers different disciplines within a continuing airworthiness environment)
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, Part-145, and Turkish DGCA (SHGM) SHT-CAM and SHT-145
  • Ability and experience in assessing Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, AMP, Maintenance Records, LLPs, HT Components, Modifications, Repairs, aircraft technical records and documentation
  • Experience in aircraft record evaluations and physical inspections
  • Completion of formal aeronautical maintenance training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with AMOS is considered an advantage
