Sun Community Health (“SCH”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is a local non-governmental organization in Myanmar and is established in particular to advance socially beneficial purposes in Myanmar by promoting and providing information, services and products related to the prevention, promotion, curation and rehabilitation of the major health services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases with the aim of furthering good health, prosperity and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness. This also includes state-of-art training programs, quality assurance programs, and a robust supply chain and logistics system and health financing mechanisms. The Organization may also provide non-health related ancillary services that ensure and improve the well-being of its clientele.

JOB SUMMARY:

Sun Community Health (SCH) is supporting the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP) to strengthen active tuberculosis case finding (ACF) through mobile team interventions. The Team Leader will provide technical and operational leadership to ensure the effective planning, implementation, supervision, and monitoring of ACF activities in accordance with NTP guidelines.

SCOPE OF WORK:

The duties and responsibilities of Team Leader include;

Planning and Implementation

· Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor mobile team implementation of Active Case Finding (ACF) activities.

· Ensure quality and timely delivery of TB screening, diagnosis, referral, and other assigned services through the mobile team.

· Monitor achievement of program targets and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Team Leadership and Supervision

· Lead and manage the mobile team to ensure efficient implementation of activities.

· Monitor team performance and provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supportive supervision. Coordination and Partnership

· Coordinate with the National Tuberculosis Program (NTP), Township Medical Officers, Regional TB Officers, health facilities, and implementing partners to facilitate effective implementation.

· Represent the project in coordination meetings, technical discussions, and other relevant forums as assigned.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

· Ensure compliance with NTP technical guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and donor requirements.

· Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of project equipment, supplies, and commodities.

Reporting and Documentation

· Review and ensure timely submission of activity reports and program data.

· Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation required by NTP and SCH.

Other Responsibilities

· Maintain confidentiality of patient information and program data at all times.

· Comply with SCH policies, NTP guidelines, and donor requirements.

· Perform any other duties assigned by NTP management or SCH that are relevant to the position.

Expected Deliverables

The Team Leader is expected to:

· Mobile team activities implemented according to the assigned work plans.

· Timely and accurate program reports submitted.

· Quality supervision and monitoring of field activities.

· Effective coordination with NTP and relevant stakeholders.

Working Relationships The Team Leader will work closely with:

· National Tuberculosis Program

· NTP office Staff

· Ministry of Health officials and other stakeholders, as required

· SCH Program Delivery Division Team

· SCH’s Finance, and Human Resources teams

Reporting Line

The Team Leader will be administratively managed by Sun Community Health (SCH) and will receive day-to-day technical supervision from the NTP focal person.

Term of Agreement:

The Contractor will receive the basic daily service payment upon submission of a complete Daily Work Report to the respective Supervisor and payment will be made within 30 days after SCH receives and accepts the report. In addition, the Contractor may be eligible for a performance-based payment, which will be determined based on the verification of achievements against the Monthly or Quarterly Performance Indicator Report and the appraisal and approval of the respective Supervisor.

· Medical Doctor (M.B.,B.S) with a valid medical registration.

· At least three years of experience in TB program, preferably in active case finding or mobile team operations. · Experience in team leadership, supervision, and program coordination.

· Experience working with NTP or similar public health programs is highly desirable.
