Sun Community Health (“SCH”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is a local non-governmental organization in Myanmar and is established in particular to advance socially beneficial purposes in Myanmar by promoting and providing information, services and products related to the prevention, promotion, curation and rehabilitation of the major health services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases with the aim of furthering good health, prosperity and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness. This also includes state-of-art training programs, quality assurance programs, and a robust supply chain and logistics system and health financing mechanisms. The Organization may also provide non-health related ancillary services that ensure and improve the well-being of its clientele.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Technical Operations & Network Support Officer is responsible for strengthening the operational capacity of Sun and Community Channel staff through standardized onboarding, technical training, practical coaching, and knowledge management.
The position holder assists the Sr. Technical Operations and Network Support Officer in creating training packages and developing operational policies and documentation. They coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to ensure standardized, efficient, and compliant operations across the organization.
Job Description
1. Participate in developing and maintaining standardized onboarding training packages for newly recruited
Operations staff in both the Sun and Community Channels to ensure consistent orientation and learning.
2. Designing, organizing, and facilitating operational training programs, including in-person, virtual, and
field-based practical sessions to strengthen staff competencies.
3. Delivering technical training on operational systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),
organizational policies, workflows, reporting requirements, and operational tools.
4. Conducting practical and on-the-job training through coaching, mentoring, supportive supervision, and
field accompaniment to ensure effective application of operational procedures.
5. Coordinating with Regional Operations Teams, Program Teams, Training Team, Human Resources, and
other relevant departments to identify training needs, schedule training activities, and ensure consistent
implementation.
6. Serving as the focal point for developing, reviewing, updating, and standardizing operational training
materials, manuals, SOPs, guidelines, templates, and reference documents.
7. Acting as the team member of the focal onboarding team for collecting, organizing, maintaining, and
disseminating operational policies, procedures, directives, memos, and official documents to ensure staff
have access to the latest approved versions.
8. Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs through pre- and post-training assessments, participant
feedback, competency evaluations, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
9. Providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to Operations staff regarding operational
processes, documentation requirements, compliance, and implementation challenges.
10. Working closely with field Operations teams to identify operational gaps, recommend practical solutions,
and provide refresher training based on field observations.
11. Coordinating cross-functional collaboration with Program, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources,
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Quality Improvement (QI), and other departments to ensure
operational processes are aligned across the organization.
12. Supporting the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives by promoting best
operational practices, standardization, and compliance with organizational policies.
13. Preparing regular reports on training implementation, staff competency development, knowledge
management activities, and operational capacity-building progress, highlighting achievements,
challenges, and recommendations.
14. Performing other operational support and capacity-building responsibilities assigned by the supervisor to strengthen organizational performance and ensure the effective implementation of Sun and Community
Channel operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS), Public Health, Health Sciences, Business Administration, Management, Education, or another relevant discipline.
- At least three (2-3) years of experience in operations management, capacity building, program implementation, or organizational development.
- Have experience in designing and delivering training or onboarding programs.
- Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, or healthcare organizations is preferred
- Valid SAMA license is preferred.
