Sun Community Health (“SCH”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is a local non-governmental organization in Myanmar and is established in particular to advance socially beneficial purposes in Myanmar by promoting and providing information, services and products related to the prevention, promotion, curation and rehabilitation of the major health services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases with the aim of furthering good health, prosperity and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness. This also includes state-of-art training programs, quality assurance programs, and a robust supply chain and logistics system and health financing mechanisms. The Organization may also provide non-health related ancillary services that ensure and improve the well-being of its clientele.

JOB SUMMARY:
Community Mobilizer holds field-based roles in their assigned territories and they are primarily responsible for community health services activities partnering with the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel in assigned area related to assigned TB Project. The position is target-driven and ultimately responsible for achieving the challenging targets assigned to their territories.
The contract type is Service Agreement and the duration is until December 2026 with possible extension. The required position is 2 with assigned area - Bago, Taungoo
Job Description
• Monitoring visit to the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel in assigned area to distribute health-related products, to deliver new updated forms, IECs and promos, to collect MCRs, and to provide provider’s incentive payment;
• Ensure all SCH distributing health related products are fully stocked and kept under acceptable condition, good expired date, and track to keep reasonable sales and consultation;
• Advocate with Sun doctors and/or public/private labs and affiliated X ray centers for case referral
• Assist and involve in the awareness-raising activities related to assigned TB project.
• Responsible for disseminating technical updated changes to the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel in assigned areas;
• Take necessary action/solution concerning issues on the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel and other stakeholders in assigned area and report to supervisor if the issue is not on their decision level;
• Check and verify the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel reports and respond back to Community Coordinator/Technical Support Officer concerning errors and problems in reporting;
• Assist Community Coordinator/ Technical Support Officer on progress analysis & monitoring of community health service activities, conducting area mapping & auditing for new provider recruitment in the assigned territory;
• Assist to conduct refresher training and meeting with the formal pharmacy channel, the informal ‘druggist’ channel of the assigned area;
• Conduct advocacy and report back to local authorities and health authorities and attend meetings as necessary at respective townships;
• Prepare and report monthly activities timely to supervisors and support team.
Key Skills: The key skills required for the position of Community Mobilizer include:
Technical Knowledge: Must have understanding on basic knowledge on community program.
Operational management: Must be able to manage time effectively and operational factors to increase providers’ productivity.
Communication: Must be able to understand basic communication skills and effectively communicate with their providers and all stake holders.
Organizational Skills: Know teamwork nature and NGO working nature
Term of Agreement:
The Contractor will receive the basic daily service payment upon submission of a complete Daily Work Report to the respective Supervisor and payment will be made within 30 days after SCH receives and accepts the report. In addition, the Contractor may be eligible for a performance-based payment, which will be determined based on the verification of achievements against the Monthly or Quarterly Performance Indicator Report and the appraisal and approval of the respective Supervisor.
Qualifications
• Be a Graduate
• Able to drive motorbike and have a valid driving license for motorbike (only for non- Yangon area posts)
• Able to travel extensively to hard- to- reach areas in assigned territory
• Proven work experience in community project is advantageous
• Resident from project township is preferable
• Must have good communication skill and advocacy skill
• Should be organized, systematic, dynamic and must interact well with others
