Sun Community Health (“SCH”) is a non-profit, non-political and non-sectarian organization. It is a local non-governmental organization in Myanmar and is established in particular to advance socially beneficial purposes in Myanmar by promoting and providing information, services and products related to the prevention, promotion, curation and rehabilitation of the major health services including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, maternal and child health, reproductive health and non-communicable diseases with the aim of furthering good health, prosperity and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness. This also includes state-of-art training programs, quality assurance programs, and a robust supply chain and logistics system and health financing mechanisms. The Organization may also provide non-health related ancillary services that ensure and improve the well-being of its clientele.

Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
HR Generalist will be mainly responsible for all HR functional services of SCH’s employees and HRIS by coordinating with respective authorized HR focal and assist to National HR Manager in implementation of HR reporting and compliance matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibilities of HR Generalist include: As a HR focal of national team at SCH - Headquarters, involve in the development and smooth implementation of all HR services for effective functioning of all SCH’s activities of talent acquisition, talent development and employee benefits.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection process including job announcement, coordinate and participate in interviews, reference check, job offer, etc. in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure to hire staff.
- Organize the new staff or other type of employees onboarding related matters by contracting, collecting the required personal information, setting the profile in the system, BI check, ID Cards and confirmation for following policies and procedures.
- Organize the Organization’s Staff Orientation Program and conduct Orientation to newly recruited staff and/or re-orientation to existing staff as needed, regarding HR procedures and policies.
- Assist in planning, organizing and facilitation of the staff development and capacity programs by keeping records and processing staff skill development requests.
- Report regularly to Healthcare team for probationary accomplished new joiner/s & leaver/s
- Collect information of employee & beneficiaries for membership ID
- Assist the HR digitalized functional transformation process and any other integrated systems; updating new & resigned employees in system, etc.
- Update the employee database and share with all employees as per defined HR guidelines.
- Records, processes and check the employee information including leaves, attendance lists through system.
- Collaborating with the HR focal to provide support for HR technology matters.
- Handle the employee personnel files for all employees’ information to be updated, and other matters of private and personal nature in a professional and confidential manner.
- Provide monthly reports or ad hoc reports related to Finance – payroll information and related to employee information.
- Prepare HR letters related to employee promotion, discontinue, transfer, award, recommendation etc
- Assist to National HR Manager for the all-HR operational functions to be smooth operating under proper compliance practices in line with control systems.
Qualifications
KEY SKILLS
The key skills required for the position of HR Generalist include:
- Technical Knowledge: Must have good knowledge and able to manage in HR functions effectively and efficiently.
- Information Technology: Must have good knowledge and experienced of Information Technology.
- Operational management: Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Communication: Must be trustworthy and responsible the assigned tasks according to the timelines.
- Organizational Skills: Must be organized and be able to manage Staff Orientation Program and HR related training, both in person and online as well as E-learning Platform.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science/Management Information systems or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
- About two years of relevant experience in human resources
- Have good understanding and knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Able to use Information Technology, have good knowledge of Human Resource Information System/ HR software is preferable;
- Communicate in verbal and written English with excellent knowledge
- Work accurately under tight deadlines
- Have good communication and negotiation skills
- Have team-work orientation, proactive and demonstrated capacity to work independently
- Must have to produce effective outputs timely with minimal supervision
