Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for all growth marketing initiatives at Sun Bum. This candidate will work closely with our eCommerce Manager and Marketing team to build and execute a plan to drive brand awareness, acquire new customers, and build strong brand advocacy.

 

The candidate will have a strong understanding of all digital marketing areas with a focus on Paid Social, SEM + Email. To be successful in this role, you must be able to strategic thinker, analytical, and a hard-working and strong leader with a passion to execute the nitty gritty while building the future. ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Manage and execute key digital marketing campaigns that support customer acquisition and awareness. This includes paid social ads, google ads (Adwords, Shopping and YouTube) and email marketing.
  •  Recommend, build, adjust and optimize digital campaigns (Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, Search) to maximize ROI and align with business goals
  • Develop briefs for new creative and work closely with design resources to proactively evaluate branding, design, messaging, and functionality to develop the most effective campaigns
  • Analyze the effectiveness of growth marketing programs by measuring and evaluating key success metrics
  • Paid Social Ads
    • Work with marketing + creative to develop content strategy and calendar.
    • Track weekly performance metrics, tweak as performance dictates and provide learnings to team for future campaign.
    • Develop and implement A/B testing
  • Google AdWords/ YouTube / Google Shopping
    • Develop budget
    • Optimize keyword and bidding strategy
  • Identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on insights
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals – ROAS and KPIs
  • Own email marketing program and develop lifecycle email strategy to grow and nurture the email database across brands
  • Set strategies to target audiences and geographic regions to support campaigns, including prospecting and retargeting
  • Own content calendar and make sure digital and social teams are acting on same marketing campaigns and efforts
  • Help support SEO efforts on site
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications

SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2-3 years of digital marketing experience owning Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience building high performing social media ad campaigns
  • Expert level understanding of Google Analytics, ability to take data and turn it into actionable results
  • Experience working with Klayvio, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Adwords, and Facebook Manager
  • Experience with Amazon Advertising an asset
  • Solid understanding of current SEO best practices and implementation
  • Experience in A/B testing
  •  Strong project management skills and ability to manage and prioritize many projects
  • A desire to remain up to date with trends, new features and functionalities in search engine and social advertising
  • Combined strategic and analytical skills with a creative/visual eye. Acute attention to detail in producing deliverables while understanding big-picture objectives and strategy
