Job Description

  • Manage elevator projects from start to finish, including contract approval documents, change order management, billing, close-out documents to ensure a quality and profitable delivery.
  • Effectively communicate company objectives with general contractors, property managers, subcontractors and building owners to drive completion effectiveness and customer success.
  • Work as a team with the sales and operations departments to provide seamless deliveries of a final product to the customer at expected margins.
  • Attend required job site meetings with clients and provide updated schedules as appropriate.
  • Respond to RFI's in a timely manner to avoid issues with completion
  • Provide feedback on progress toward financial goals to the Branch Manager.
  • Work closely with the field teams to drive overall safety objectives and customer service goals.
  • Order parts required to complete necessary repairs and projects.
  • Support the modernization, service, and repair components of the business.
  • Process required payroll and complete safety training as required.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or business administration
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of construction/project management experience - elevator experience is strongly desired.
  • Understand principals of cost estimating, scheduling and contract administration
  • Read and understand specifications, blueprints, contracts and other construction related documents
  • Understand the financial components of various construction projects
  • Effective communication and teamwork attitude
