Job Description

Essential Job functions:

  • Experience with configuring, maintaining and enhancing the Practice Management and Electronic Health Record
  • Technical knowledge of Electronic Health Record
  • Build and Maintain strong relationships with Physicians and staff in their use of the EHR implement advance workflows to optimal efficiency.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot potential issues and participate in their resolution with highest customer satisfaction.
  • Experiencing configuring and building master tables
  • Impeccable maintenance of master files with consistent quality checks and improvements
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer systems and their use. Assist providers and support staff with adoption of new functionality and re-design of workflow to reflect Best Practice clinical operations.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the group growth and expansion including on call hours.
  • Responsible for daily issue resolution and support of the scheduling application systems.
  • Participate in projects and workflow design.

 

General Job functions:

  • Support the organizations efforts to meet patient access goals designed to maximize scheduling functionality across multiple systems, improving care delivery in an ambulatory practice setting
  • Work independently as well as in a group setting.
  • Detail oriented, strong analytical and communication skills
  • Provide on-site support and training when necessary
  • Receive work via the ticking queue for incoming support issues and problems.

Qualifications

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Physical agility, which includes ability to maneuver body while in place.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers.
  • Long periods of sitting.

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or Competency with requirements listed below:
  • Prior experience supporting and/or implementing an Electronic Health Record
  • Experience with AthenaHealth a PLUS
  • IT Systems support or front desk operations background desired, with min 1-3 years’ experience in a health care setting. 
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
