We’re looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team at Summerset’s Head Office in Wellington. 

As part of our large and collaborative People & Culture team, you’ll play a key role in supporting leaders across the Village Operations Business Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will help shape a positive and inclusive workplace. 

Your day-to-day will include: 

  • Supporting Senior P&C Advisors & leaders through issues and change management initiatives. 
  • Partner with leaders to build capability and embed best practice across all aspects of people and culture. 
  • Collaborate with our P&C Shared Services and Centres of Excellence to implement strategic people initiatives. 
  • Champion employee engagement and initiatives that enhance psychological safety and wellbeing. 

About you: 

You’re a People & Culture professional who thrives on building strong relationships and is keen to get stuck in to a fast paced work environment & grow their career!

You'll also bring: 

  • Exposure to employee relations, ideally supporting disciplinary processes and ensuring compliance with employment law. 
  • 2-3 years experience in HR with exposure to performance management, and organisational development. 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – you’ll be confident advising and coaching leaders. 
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and a genuine passion for creating a great employee experience.
