Job Description

To support the effective and efficient running of an on-site Bar in our premium village St. Johns, we are looking for an exceptional Bar Staff. At Summerset, we're passionate about providing quality service to our clients. Your key responsibility is to prepare and serve beverages and to ensure that the quality of all beverages presented to customers meets establishment standards.

We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart! Our Bar Staff is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will:

 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and cocktails
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of PosBoss systems would be an advantage
  • Holds Duty Manager’s Certification (or be prepared to complete)
  • Must be over 18 years of age (this is required for mixing and serving alcoholic beverages)
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Understanding of food safety and having a high level of personal hygiene
