Summerset Boulcott is looking to recruit an experienced Property Assistant to join our vibrant new Village! This represents an amazing opportunity to help shape the Village's exciting future.

Summerset is the second largest retirement village operator in New Zealand. We're passionate about providing quality service to our clients and we are growing quickly, with 39+ villages from Whangarei down to Dunedin.

Our picturesque Summerset Boulcott village is a brand-new village & sits adjacent to the beautiful Boulcott’s Farm Heritage Golf Club, offering stunning views of the surrounding valley and lush greens. This village is still in development - once complete, this stunning village will offer a range of modern, high quality living & care options to our residents.

About the Role:
In this role, you will assist the Property Manager with all aspects of property maintenance at our village. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about their work, enjoy working in a team and take considerable pride in the standard of their work. This is a permanent, full-time role, working a minimum of 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm

We are anticipating a start date of 4th June 2024 for this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the overall property and gardening maintenance and presentation
• Ensuring that the look and feel of the Village meets the high standards that Summerset demands

About You:
You will be a self-motivated, someone that is handy with tools, and a passionate professional who would describe themselves as a people person. You will have the ability to carry out a variety of property and gardening tasks.

To be successful you will bring:

• DIY and maintenance experience
• Great organizational skills and efficiency
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Valid driver's license
