We're seeking vibrant individuals like YOU to join our enthusiastic committee as Member-at-Large volunteers!

As a Member-at-Large, you'll be at the heart of our club's operations! This will give you an opportunity to become more familiar with not only club administration, but with SSMU.

This position also serves as the perfect stepping stone for aspiring club executives or to improve your role as a current club executive. Gain insider knowledge and hands-on experience in the administrative processes that power our clubs, honing your skills to elevate your future leadership roles. The invaluable communication and teamworking skills you'll cultivate in this role will be invaluable throughout your journey in both academic and professional realms.

Member-at-large responsibilities:

• Attend and contribute to weekly Club Committee meetings

Club committee responsibilities:

• Review and make recommendations for the approval of Interim Club Status and Full Club Status applications in a manner consistent with the Internal Regulations of Student Groups

• Review and make recommendations for the approval of proposed changes to Club Constitutions;

• Make recommendations to the Vice-President (Student Life) on Policies related to Clubs;

• Review club workshop materials and basic modules and make recommendations to the Vice President (Finance) in relation to this information; and

• Review and make recommendations to the club committee’s terms of reference at the end of the year.

• Must be a member of the society (SSMU)

• Knowledge of SSMU clubs

• Experience as a club executive an asset

• Volunteer Position
• Position term: September 26, 2023 to May 31, 2024
