The Student's Society of McGill University (SSMU) is currently hiring. With over 20,000 members, SSMU's role is to represent students and to offer services since 1908.

The primary responsibility of the Club Website Designer is to create and update websites for clubs and services affiliated with the SSMU, and to teach student groups how to update and maintain these websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with individual student groups to design easy-to-update websites based on the needs of student groups;
2. Teach members of the student group strategies for effective website management and regular web maintenance following the production of a website;
3. Assist in the production of informational content regarding website management and
updating for student groups;
4. Collaborate with the Vice-President (Student Life) on club related projects that require web or graphic design as needed.

5. To undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Vice-President
Student Life.

1. Experience working with HTML and CSS as well as a familiarity with Wordpress required;
2. Experience with graphic design an asset;
3. Highly organized and strong attention to detail;
4. Capable of following through on a project;

5. Initiative and results driven oriented;
6. Good communication skills both in English and French desirable.
