The Student's Society of McGill University (SSMU) is currently hiring. With over 20,000 members, SSMU's role is to represent students and to offer services since 1908.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Creating and administering virtual forms

  2. Assists with the organization of the SSMU’s Clubs Portal 

  3. Assist in website design

  4. Assist in publishing website content

  5. Troubleshooting: Detect and solve problems before they occur.

  6. Other tasks related.

Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of the functioning of SSMU student groups is required

  2. Experience in website building platforms like Wix or Weebly is an asset

  3. Experience in form building is required

  4. Understanding of Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G Suit, and Wordpress is required

  5. Experience serving as an executive of a SSMU club or service is an asset

  6. Knowledge of student governance and student politics an asset

  7. Highly organized and strong attention to detail

  8. Initiative and results driven oriented

  9. Strong communication skills  in English

Additional Information

  • Paid position: $13.53/hour
  • Contract dates: November 19th 2021 - May 31st 2022
  • Total Contract Hours: 310 hours
