Job Description
We are looking for you as our new Dental Technician (m/f/x). In this role you will be a member of an informal and highly engaged team of our Dental Competence Center, part of our Technology & Testing Group, which acts as an internal service provider for the Straumann Group. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland, and is reporting to the Head of Dental Competence Center with the following main responsibilities:
- Support of independent product development projects, test work, creation of complaint investigations, identification of workflow ability of potentially new products and/or materials
- Responsible for i.e. processing photographic documentation, for demonstration- and show work or illustrative materials and prototype samples
- Technical application support both internally and externally (RD&O, CEC and Product Managers, clients, subsidiaries, distributors, etc.)
- Execution of internal specific product and workflow training
- Support of Project work, Application, Testing/Methods
- Working at Events & Congress, Trade shows with customer contact (booth duty and service at trade fairs and congresses)
- Patient study-related activities of prosthetic reconstructions
Qualifications
- Degree as Dental Technician or Master Dental Technician
- Several years (minimum of 5 years) of experience in comparable position
- Qualified specialist in CAD/CAM software for dental applications
- Special knowledge in dental, orthodontic, and oral surgery processes
- Wide range of practical and theoretical spectrum of dental knowledge and dental application and support as well as in related areas (CADCAM Applications, CADCAM Processes and 3D Platforms & Research)
- Advanced skills in dental products and technologies
- Fluent written and speaking skills in German and English (any other language advantageous)
- Customer-oriented thinking, high flexibility and resilience
- Team player with a target orientated and structured working approach
- Precious working skills with the ability to take ownership
- Very good communication skills adjusted to the audience
