Job Description

We are looking for you as our new Senior Finance Business Partner for Operations (m/f) to strengthen the Group Business Controlling team at our global headquarter in Basel, Switzerland. You will contribute in this function to Straumann Group’s (SIX: STMN) rapid growth by acting a global business controller for operations that encompass production and supply chain management. With your proven controlling experience in an international environment as well as strong communications skills, you will interact with cross-functional teams and business partners. You are a persistent, result-oriented, open minded and flexible professional with a healthy level of self-confidence, drive and team spirit. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland and reports to the Head Group Controlling.

YOUR TASKS

  • Act as finance business partner for executive management and selected HQ based teams, promote a sustainable financial performance culture and engage into constructive dialogues with business
  • Provide decision making support and recommendations to management based on financial analysis and facts
  • Optimize controlling processes and tools and create transparency on financials to enable proper steering of business, especially focusing on the product value flows
  • Lead reporting, planning and forecasting for the respective function
  • Identify and implement sustainable efficiency increases with a focus on cost management and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives and projects
  • Prepare reports and presentations to the management, create ad hoc analysis
  • Act as needed as project leader or project participant

Qualifications

  • MSc / BSc in Finance or Controlling
  • 8-10 years of experience in controlling, mainly production controlling, preferably in an international environment
  • Proven project management skills, e.g. ERP System implementation
  • Work experience with SAP (FI/CO) a must, combined with skills in SAP PP/MM/SD and in BI software (e.g. BW, MIS Infor (ALEA))
  • Flexible and proactive “can do” attitude, able to work under pressure, entrepreneurial thinking
  • Good communication and presentation skills on all hierarchical levels
  • Fluent in English, German and any further language an asset
