Stratford Solutions is looking for Drupal Developers to add to their IT Consulting team located at their client's site in Ithaca, NY.

This is a 2 year contract, and the target pay rate is $50/hr.

Job Description:

• Partner with Project Managers and customers to document functionality requirements
• Help translate customer ideas to cost effective technical solutions (Familiarity with Drupal core and many of the Drupal contributed modules to help with these conversations)
• Develop new websites/web applications:  Everything from installing Drupal, modules, creating custom modules only when needed, partnering with designers, testing development work, facilitating the launch process, etc.
• Support existing websites/web application:Providing support to various Drupal websites (in various versions)
• Provide status updates to support leads and customers while working on solutions
• Patch/maintain various Drupal websites:  Keeping audit logs and quickly investigate and resolve any issues that arise
• Contribute ideas and efforts towards internal projects and working as part of a team to find solutions on various problems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience) with at least 5 to 7 years' of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Proficient in Drupal (minimum 6+ years), including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
• Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems
• Solid understanding of PHP, AJAX, HTML, Javascript, and CSS
• Familiarity with source control systems such as GIT, etc
• Experience working with Drupal cloud hosting provider environments such as Acquia, Pantheon and others
• Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to business users and other teams (design, QA)
• Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
• Eager to embrace current and emerging web technologies
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges
• Ability to partner with both designers and project managers
• Ability to communicate and work well with others
• Ability to review, estimate and track work assigned
• Knowledge of SEO coding best practices
• Familiarity with OWASP top issues, experience remedying websites or web applications with security issues

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WordPress is an added bonus! 
• Project estimation and time tracking experience
