Full time position responsible for providing technical expertise to assist professional work groups in the area of developing new e-learning courses and revising e-learning courses. Supports projects internally and is responsible for tasks and assignments associated with the development of training. This requires collaboration with internal teams, external teams, and management to ensure requirements are being met and projects are kept on schedule.

Major Functions, Roles and Responsibilities for the E-Learning Specialist and Adobe Captivate Developer are:

E-learning Design

·         Creates/Revises e-learning using Adobe Captivate software.

·         Maintains e-learning content using Adobe Captivate software

·         Works with project team to design and develop SCORM compliant e-learning

·         Develops storyboards and scripts for e-learning and virtual live training

·         Upload and configure e-learning content into learning management system

·         Integrates emerging instructional methods and technologies into e-learning

Instruction Design

·         Develop instructor guides, student guides, and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

·         Apply creative design to the discipline of instructional design with an emphasis on multimedia

·         Develop instructional programs that leverage new technologies and multimedia

·         Apply interaction design and interactive learning principles to instructional solutions for adult learners

·         Select, modify, and integrate existing instructional materials that employ multimedia and emerging technologies

Training Program Production

·         Must be able to produce training programs for virtual-live training utilizing Adobe Connect

Experience:

·         4 years of demonstrated experience as an e-learning developer

·         2 years of direct experience using Adobe Captivate 7 or newer e-learning software

·         1 year of experience using Adobe Connect or related product to produce virtual live training

·         5 years of experience in Microsoft products, primarily in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

·         E-Learning: 4 years of demonstrated experience an E-Learning Developer

 Education:

·         Bachelor degree in multimedia design, graphic design, or instructional design, or a related field in training development

Required Training: Employee will attend team development meetings which include training on communications, innovation, teamwork, problem solving and accountability.

Security: Must be able to pass a FAA Security background investigation
