Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Spring Boot Developer (Contractor) to join our team. This role involves developing and integrating Java-based microservices, particularly connectors for third-party controls vendors, within our Warehouse Execution System (WES). You will collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and other development teams, ensuring alignment with our enterprise architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Spring Boot-based connectors for vendor systems.
- Ensure seamless integration within the microservices ecosystem.
- Collaborate to align implementation with enterprise frameworks and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Work with QA engineers on testing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, messaging patterns, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with integration and connector development.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and test automation.
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse automation or logistics software.
- Familiarity with Camunda or workflow-driven architecture.
- Exposure to front-end integration (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Previous contractor/consulting experience in Agile organizations.
