Career Opportunity – Part-Time Human Resources Generalist – Downtown Cincinnati, OH

strategic HR inc. is recruiting for a Part-Time HR Generalist for a sophisticated, progressive and successful downtown law firm.

Responsibilities for the Part Time HR Generalist include:

  • Employee relations, time and attendance and policy administration for hourly staff members.
  • Assists in revising and implementing HR policies and procedure and maintains employee staff member handbook.
  • Performs benefits administration such as communicating benefits information to employees, assist with claims resolution and annual open enrollment.
  • Coordinates and monitors the annual performance evaluation process.
  • Maintains employee database, personnel files and I-9 compliance.
  • Conducts monthly staff meetings and participates in committee meetings as applicable.
  • Manages human resources information system and completes related surveys.
  • Coordinates staff appreciation activities and events.
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal employment regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will need strong organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate current situations, and make recommendations for improvements.  Additionally, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  • Experience using Paycor required.
