Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

This is an on-site position working out of our corporate office or from one of our plant locations: Dallas, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. 

Designs, develops, and maintains EDI integrations for support of Stratas B2B (EDI) initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and managing the strategies and activities related to all Stratas ecommerce initiatives. Communicates complex concepts and business issues verbally and in writing. Ensures the strategic vision while managing day-to-day operations and resources.

For this specific role, an understanding of the OpenText (previously Liaison) suite of enterprise integration tools is essential; however, the technological requirements of the role will adjust to meet the current needs of Stratas over time.

1. Develops Stratas’ Business-to-Business (B2B) integrations and process utilizing the OpenText toolset and Stratas’ integration framework.
2. Participates in the development of long term B2B strategies with internal business units, customers, and vendors.
3. Evaluates B2B vendor toolsets and services to achieve Stratas requirements.
4. Manages trading partner relationships utilizing OpenText Trading Networks functionality.
5. Keeps up to date with B2B industry trends and technologies.
6. Develops and monitors customer and vendor integrations, ongoing maintenance, and support activities.
7. Participates with business analysts, and developers in support of business priorities and technology initiates within the OpenText integration domain.
8. Works with the business analyst to analyze, recommend, plan, design, develop, and implement solutions to meet Stratas’ strategic, usability, performance, reliability control and security requirements.
9. Participates in all B2B projects and integrations by coordinating the efforts of Subject Matter Experts, Development, Quality Assurance, and other internal resources for successful customer and vendor implementations.
10. Monitors operational measures and metrics of B2B solutions and integrations.
11. Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner.
12. Possesses in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing, and implementing systems analysis and applications development projects and programs.
13. Responsible for gathering, maintaining, and publishing product information to the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN).
14. Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field Systems or equivalent business experience.

Related Experience:

• Five plus years’ experience with online high-volume transaction systems.
• Five plus years’ experience in all aspects of ecommerce, including design, development, and identifying opportunities with customers/users.
• Knowledge and exposure to transaction portals, and internet technologies as they relate to ecommerce opportunities.
• Working knowledge and exposure to ecommerce and web enabling technologies.

Equipment/Software Skills: Requires a high-level working knowledge for the following technologies: including but not limited to OpenText, EDI VANS, EDI Translator, Trading Networks, ANSI X12, AS2, ebXML; industry initiatives such as UCCnet/Global Data Synchronization (GDS)

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements

Physical:   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to fingers, and talk or hear.  The employee will be required to walk and stand. This position occasionally requires the employee to lift up to 50 pounds.

Sensory: Vision requirements are close vision needed for working on a computer.  The noise level for this position is usually moderate.

Mental/Reasoning: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Should be able to make well-reasoned and supported recommendations to management concerning emerging technologies that can enhance productivity and reduce costs related to PC technologies.
