Job Description
The Inventory Coordinator perform administrative and clerical functions related to transportation, shipping/receiving, inventory and other warehouse processes. This position also supports the warehouse with functions including but not limited to scheduling, cycle counts, physical inventory, internal and external communication and reviewing of orders.
Responsibilities of a Coordinator:
- Perform a monthly physical inventory, including the count of ingredients and finished goods as needed.
- Key into IBM areas counted by the teams
- Audit as needed.
- Do Recounts and assist the Inventory Supervisor.
- Send all receipt to accounts payable.
- Cycle count jibs and reconciliate Ring container inventory.
- Clear any negatives showing on IBM
- Do IDTs reconciliation as needed and check and correct IDTs transfer error report
- Receive incoming Ring container deliveries
- Send jibs and any required packaging materials to the plant and prepare paperwork
- Schedule incoming delivery appointments for corrugated / packaging / ingredients.
- Receive any incoming vendor deliveries and fill out QA Trailer Inspection Sheet for all deliveries.
- Label ingredients with QA approval tags.
- Check next day’s production schedule and order jibs from Ring accordingly.
- Prepare raw materials/packaging trailer going to the plant.
- Cycle count finished product as needed and requested by Shipping
- Ensure designated areas of the warehouse are fixed.
- Be prepared to cover shipping clerks as needed.
- Drive warehouse performance to meet KPI expectations.
- Other duties as required by direct supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
Education: 1- 2 years of college is preferred but degree is not required.
Related Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience working in planning or other business/ manufacturing position.
Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient use of Microsoft Office including extensive experience in developing and use of spreadsheets, word, email and PowerPoint. Experience writing reports using software based on SQL. Experience working with AS400 and Prism.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Prefer (Not Required): APICS certification (CPIM, CIRM, CFPIM, CSCP), SPSM (Senior Professional in Supply Management), CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager)

Physical:
Sitting: Up to 80% of work time
Walking: Up to 5% of work time for distances of ½ mile
Climbing: Up to 1% of work time going up and down stairs
Lifting: Up to 1% of work time for lifting and carrying boxes weighing less than 50 lbs
Standing: Up to 3% of work time for up to 3 or 4 hours at a time
