Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and Warehouse Software Applications Expert who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for customer success and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will not only resolve complex software and automation challenges but also help customers maximise the value of their warehouse operations. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will work closely with customers, project teams, developers, and service partners to optimise processes, drive software adoption, support strategic initiatives, and create long-term customer satisfaction and business growth.
In short, you:
Enter a varied role that combines in-depth troubleshooting with project-based work. You take ownership of analysing complex incidents and improving system performance to supporting software rollouts, test new functionalities, creating troubleshooting documentation, driving continuous improvements, and collaborate with developers and service providers.
Responsibilities
• Take ownership of complex incidents escalated from Level 1 Support or Key-Users;
• Analyse errors in WMS/WCS, conveyor systems, or automated storage systems;
• Collaborate closely with developers, PLC engineers, and external service providers to resolve issues;
• Support system updates, configuration changes, and rollout of new functionalities;
• Investigate integration and interface problems between WMS, WCS, PLCs, and material flow systems;
• Create detailed troubleshooting documentation, escalation reports, and recommendations for Key-Users;
• Provide guidance to Level 1 Support for recurring problems and knowledge sharing
• Participate in testing and validation of system changes before deployment.
• You are willing to participate in our 24/7 standby service and eventually transition into a shift system.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent experience (e.g., IT, automation, mechatronics, industrial engineering)
- Solid knowledge of WMS/WCS, automated storage systems, conveyors, and PLCs
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting software and hardware integration issues
- Understanding of databases, SQL queries, and system logs for root-cause analysis
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
