Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive V-model testing framework for verifying and validating our robotics systems.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases covering all software aspects.
  • Create and implement test strategies by collaborating with development teams to identify risk areas and address testing gaps.
  • Integrate SiL, MiL, and HiL testing methodologies into the framework. Execute tests and analyze results to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Work with developers and stakeholders to ensure thorough software testing and adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify, prioritize, and track defects and issues. Document test results and report progress, risks, and bugs to the software development and project management teams.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure software changes are well-designed, maintainable, and testable.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing, validation, and quality assurance for autonomous systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Expertise in programming with MATLAB and Simulink, and performing real-time modeling, simulation of physical systems, and control system design using these tools.
  • Experience in test automation.
  • Familiarity with scripting, Python, Javascript, etc.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., Speedgoat, dSPACE, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
