Job Description
As a Scrum Master, you'll be an integral part of one or two scrum teams who deliver high value change to our fast moving, high successful business.
You will be responsible for leading the team through the full development lifecycle and Scrum process from Feature, Product and Project inception, spring planning, through implementation and regular retrospection to go live. You will have proven track record of operating within a delivery team, experience coaching and facilitating small, across functional scrum teams ideally across high volume enterprise systems.
You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.
Your responsibilities
- Work with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Engineering Lead and team to remove barriers, coach the Product Owner on how to meet their objectives through the Scrum process
- Remove impediments that are impacting the progress of team and be the guardian of the process – teaching others their roles and protecting the team’s rules of engagement
- Ensure team retains quality, drive continuous improvement and autonomy within the team
- Facilitate scrum process and communicate progress to externally interested stakeholders
- Encourage team ownership and accountability for the delivery process and the product
Qualifications
- Proven background in a Scrum Master capacity with credible experience of using Agile/Lean practices
- Strong and credible facilitation skills
- Demonstrates ownership/responsibility confidence and 'can do' attitude
- Enjoys working in a team and in a fast moving, changing, innovative environment
- Process improvement orientated, and puts forward ideas for improving processes and project management practices
