We have a hybrid approach to work; 3 days in the office and 2 from home. 

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships to enhance Totaljobs' market share. 

What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis?

  • New Business Growth:
    • Proactively generate new leads through referrals, networking, and marketing.
    • Create compelling proposals aligning with client needs.
    • Close new business opportunities with key and SME clients.
    • Deliver presentations and solutions at client meetings.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
    • Utilise Salesforce for accurate forecasting.
  • Building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders from both large enterprises and SMEs.
  • Understanding clients' current and future needs to offer customised solutions.
  • Managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to client onboarding and renewal.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive customer growth.
  • Tracking and evaluating client performance metrics to provide strategic insights.
  • Staying updated on industry trends to offer expertise to clients.
  • Exceeding Key Performance Indicators related to revenue and client engagement.
  • Representing Totaljobs Group's values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B new business sales background.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Expertise in account management
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven with attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Sales experience in a comparable industry sector.
  • Track record of delivering against ambitious growth plans.
  • Experience negotiating large and long-term contracts.
  • Ability to encourage and support the development of others.
