Job Description

Irishjobs.ie (part of The Stepstone Group), Ireland's number one recruitment website is looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (B2B Prospecting).

This exciting opportunity is designed for a highly motivated and ambitious individual looking to kickstart their career in B2B sales. The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in lead generation, cold calling, and fostering relationships with potential clients. This role not only offers top-class training but also provides a clear career progression path, with the potential to advance into an Account Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct high volume cold calling (70-80 dials per day) to generate leads and identify potential clients.
  2. Engage with prospects to understand their pain points, challenges, and business needs.
  3. Effectively communicate the value proposition of our services to potential clients.
  4. Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the Account Managers.
  5. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through strategic outreach efforts.
  6. Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in high volume cold calling, demonstrating tenacity and resilience.
  2. Ambitious and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to excel in B2B sales.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to understand and articulate complex solutions to potential clients.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
