Job Description

  • You own analytics projects end-to-end by defining requirements, coordinating stakeholders, retrieving data and conducting data analysis yourself.
  • You are a mentor for less experienced team members, set quality standards and ensure accuracy of outputs.
  • You translate business problems into analytical questions to provide actionable insights and communicate recommendations effectively to senior management.
  • You support the commercial team with data-driven decision making through automated dashboards and ad hoc deep dives.
  • You own the relationship with the cross-functional analytics community and knowledge exchange (e.g. Online Marketing Analytics, Marketplace Management, Sales Controlling, Product Analytics, Data Science). You stay on top of all changes and communicate the impact to the team.

Qualifications

  • You hold a degree with a strong analytical focus (Statistics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling, etc.)
  • You possess relevant professional experience in an analytical role, ideally in a digital business, consultancy or market research (Preferably 5+ years)
  • You have a track record of delivering analytics projects.
  • You are data-driven and passionate about numbers, while being able to explain your findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • You have advanced knowledge in SQL and Python or R.
  • You are fluent in English, German is a plus
